The Facilities Management Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a single hospital or health center. This includes managing a team of staff, overseeing departmental budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the facilities operations team, including staff recruitment, training, and development.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, including capital and operational expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, The Joint Commission, DNV, and CMS.
  • Manage and maintain facilities records, including maintenance procedures and equipment requirements.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence and financial stewardship.
  • Collaborate with senior hospital administration and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive leadership experience in hospital maintenance or medical equipment operations management.
  • Professional designation, licensure, or certification preferred (e.g., CHFM, CHC, PE).
  • Construction experience, safety, and security experience preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Travel Requirements:

Estimated 10% travel between divisions, markets, and hospitals.
