Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversight of Payroll Systems: Maintain and manage payroll and HR software applications to ensure seamless operations.
  2. Payroll Processing: Coordinate the payroll cycle, including the accrual of sick leave and PTO at month-end, ensuring timely distribution of payroll checks.
  3. Retirement Contributions: Ensure timely submission of 403(b) payroll deposits.
  4. Workers Compensation Management: Maintain and update the workers compensation records and process check requests promptly.
  5. Financial Reporting: Assist the CFO in preparing month-end journal entries related to payroll and other necessary financial entries.
  6. Audit Preparation: Prepare schedules for annual financial audits and 403(b) audits.
  7. Budget Assistance: Support the preparation of the annual financial budget, tax reports, and state-required documentation.
  8. Employee Enrollment: Facilitate the enrollment of all employees in the American United Life 403(b) plan.
  9. Compliance Monitoring: Manage employee status and qualifications for ACA compliance and oversee the 1095 Return process.
  10. Equipment Coordination: Order and coordinate the installation of computers for employees as needed.
  11. Technical Support: Collaborate with IT support to resolve computer and software issues.
  12. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate submission of collected sales taxes.
  13. Additional Duties: Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned.
