Purpose of Position

This role provides administrative support to various departments within Press-Seal Corporation. An ideal candidate is comfortable interacting with visitors and enjoys working on diverse tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Organize and prioritize large volumes of information.
  2. Draft written responses or replies via phone or email as needed, addressing regular inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal requests.
  3. Answer phones, take messages, or field/answer routine and non-routine questions. Assist with customer service calls when necessary.
  4. Schedule and organize complex activities such as meetings and department activities for all members of all departments.
  5. Establish, develop, maintain, and update filing systems, retrieving information from files when needed.
  6. Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects, acting as project manager for special projects at the request of management, which may include planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, coordinating direct mailings, and creating brochures.
  7. Document financial transactions, including accounts payable.
  8. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, and all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  1. Analytical, problem-solving ability.
  2. Good oral and written communication skills.
  3. Good judgment, motivated, ethical, dependable, and cost-conscious.
  4. Able to support organization's goals and values.
  5. Able to provide support to teammates.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  7. Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful.
Education and/or Experience
  1. Associates degree REQUIRED, preferably in Business Administration, or 3+ years of like experience.
  2. Must have 2+ years' experience in office administration.
