The Senior Executive Assistant to the President plays a crucial role in supporting the President's office by managing administrative tasks and overseeing various projects aimed at achieving strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary administrative support for the President, facilitating effective problem-solving and issue resolution.
- Lead initiatives such as the Social Committee and the Employee Mentoring Program, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely follow-up on action items and strategic priorities, while organizing key meetings including the Presidents Council and Board of Trustee gatherings.
Office Management:
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, calendar management, phone communications, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
- Act as the recording secretary for various meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up on decisions made.
Event Coordination:
- As the chief hospitality officer, coordinate major college events such as Colloquium and Employee Christmas Party, while also organizing smaller gatherings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must possess advanced proficiency in office management software, including Word, Excel, and Google applications.
- Demonstrated experience in providing excellent service and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work flexible hours when required.
