Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at Eastern Virginia Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct clinical care to ENT patients, working closely with our physicians to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical care to patients, including vital sign measurement, patient questioning, and basic assessment.
  • Verify patient information, including medical history and purpose of visit.
  • Counsel patients on provider orders and prescriptions.
  • Maintain a clean and productive work area, including daily department duties such as cleaning, restocking, and ordering supplies.
  • Assist with triage, medication refills, prior authorizations, and chart preparation.
  • Experience with in-office procedure assistance is a plus.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program.
  • At least 2-3 years of clinical experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with scheduling.
  • Must be able to travel to our Chesapeake and Harbour View offices.
