Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Office Specialist. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing schedules, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record system.
  • Manage scheduling for the MH/SA clinic, run reports, and make reminder/follow-up phone calls.
  • Provide excellent customer service to a diverse population, utilizing strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Enter data into the electronic health record and mainframe, generate reports, and answer rollover calls.
  • Attend staff meetings and supervision as required, and provide backup support to other clerical team members.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED and any combination of education and experience equivalent to satisfactory completion of one year of college education in word processing, secretarial skills, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of three years of full-time equivalent experience in administrative support.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record in compliance with City Driving Standards (may be required depending on departmental operational requirements).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records and customer service.
  • Ability to assist a diverse population and continuously be computer literate.
  • Basic math skills and ability to assess situations, gather information, and process/manage as applicable.
