Position Summary:

This role serves as a vital connection among the customer, Consumer Electronics sales, supply chain, and finance divisions. The primary emphasis will be on the planning and execution of sales objectives alongside detailed sales and forecasting strategies. The individual will take ownership of the forecasting procedure and collaborate with internal stakeholders and key retail partners on forecast development and management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Demand Forecasting and Inventory Management

  • Implement the demand planning process by collecting inputs, consolidating data, and coordinating forecast information. Collaborate with sales, business planning, and supply chain teams to create a unified demand plan.
  • Lead collaborative forecasting and planning initiatives with retail partners. Work together to determine forecast and inventory requirements to meet customer expectations throughout the product lifecycle, including planning for additional product needs to support promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with National Sales Managers, Product teams, and supply chain departments to ensure that incoming supplies align with customer requirements and commitments.
  • Act as a liaison among supply chain, sales, and customers to identify potential discrepancies in plans and their business implications, developing a comprehensive understanding of product seasonality. Proactively address demand changes with the supply chain team.

2. Sales Oversight and Data Analysis

  • Extract and format sales reports from customer databases to verify that the company is optimally positioned in retail environments and tracking sales growth.
  • Monitor sell-in and sell-through metrics against established business objectives. Provide weekly updates on sales performance and forecasts to both internal teams and retail partners.
  • Engage actively with the sales team and retail supply chain partners on collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes to align customer sales expectations with production forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Brand Advocates to supply necessary data for internal reporting requirements.

3. Purchase Order Management

  • Work alongside the supply chain team to address order maintenance issues and ensure timely communication with customers regarding updates.
  • Recommend and create purchase orders for seasonal products based on customer needs and insights.

4. Issue Resolution

  • Assist in reconciling shortages and overages for purchase orders, establishing communication and documentation standards for these issues.
  • Serve as the primary contact for purchase order-related issues, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately for new SKU setups in collaboration with relevant resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities, demonstrating effective multitasking and prioritization.
  • Experience in managing sales forecasts and inventory planning for clients.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, logistics, or supply chain roles.
  • Preferred: Experience with major retail partners.
  • Aspirations for career advancement in Sales or Sales Planning.
