Position: Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis

We are on the lookout for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our corporate team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our financial planning, reporting, and analytical capabilities. You will play a crucial role in assisting senior management with data-driven insights that will drive organizational performance.

As a well-established entity in the automotive industry, Pritchard Auto Company values analytical prowess and critical thinking. Your expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling will be essential in navigating our fast-paced environment and implementing best practices.

Collaboration with senior leadership will be key in this role, as you will be responsible for recommending monthly expense accruals, pinpointing areas for enhancement, and developing dashboards and reports to keep stakeholders informed. Working closely with HR on workforce analytics and our sales team on market trends and contracts will provide a comprehensive view of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial and operational metric forecasting
  • Prepare reports on financial performance and support the creation of monthly leadership reviews
  • Assist in formulating annual budgets
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure precise financial reporting
  • Analyze revenue trends and performance across product and customer segments
  • Create metrics, dashboards, and reports to assess and manage business performance
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including the development of dashboards, standard and ad-hoc reports, and self-service tools

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting capacity
  • Proficient in Excel for business performance reporting, conducting complex data analysis, and translating findings into actionable insights
  • Expertise in Excel modeling techniques, including advanced formulas and functions
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to distill and summarize relevant data for executive decision-making
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently across various departments in a rapidly evolving company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams
