Position Overview:

The Financial Planning Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our expansion by delivering precise and timely financial reports for our operational divisions. This position collaborates closely with our corporate Financial Planning & Analysis leadership to uncover trends and metrics that facilitate strategic decision-making, ultimately contributing to our long-term financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and enhance reporting for Roers General Contracting and Roers Residential by preparing and reviewing monthly financial packages and executive summaries.

• Develop a comprehensive regional reporting framework to better assist our operational divisions.

• Collaborate with senior management to budget and forecast performance, focusing on risk assessment and profitability.

• Contribute to the long-term strategic planning process.

• Identify and track essential performance indicators for the organization.

• Utilize Power BI and other data visualization tools to present insights effectively.

• Provide support for additional business analysis as required.

• Assist the Senior Vice President of Finance with strategic ad hoc projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.

• Two to five years of experience in a financial analyst role or a similar capacity.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in the multifamily housing sector is preferred but not mandatory.

• Must be a proactive collaborator and self-motivated individual.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills and the capability to meet deadlines.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and handle a demanding workload.

• Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a sense of ownership—driven to overcome challenges, committed to success, and focused on teamwork and client satisfaction.

• High level of integrity—trustworthy, straightforward, and honest.
