Role Responsibilities:

As an instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational experiences to students enrolled in GED preparation, TABE reading and math classes, and high school diploma programs. Your role will encompass:

  • Creating a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere to enhance student motivation.
  • Maintaining discipline to facilitate optimal learning conditions.
  • Building strong relationships with students to promote a positive learning environment.
  • Utilizing diverse curriculum resources to enrich the educational experience.
  • Preparing the classroom effectively for each session.
  • Developing and maintaining lesson plans aligned with course objectives.
  • Tracking and reporting daily attendance as required.
  • Assisting with the completion of necessary program documentation.
  • Ensuring classroom cleanliness and organization.
  • Compiling reports on student engagement, attendance, and evaluations.
  • Adhering to all operational standards and corporate policies.
  • Assessing and documenting student progress in relevant systems.
  • Supporting inventory management as needed.
  • Demonstrating and reinforcing essential employability skills.
  • Ensuring the safety and accountability of all participants and resources.
  • Promoting a respectful and harassment-free environment for both staff and students.
  • Participating in mandatory training sessions.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Certification to teach in the relevant state (with potential for waiver if necessary).
  • Experience working with diverse youth populations.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
