Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support to students and families on financial aid programs, regulations, and processes.
  • Facilitate communication and education on financial aid options, loan programs, and document completion assistance.
  • Assist with tracking and follow-up on verification and award documents, ensuring timely completion and resolution.
  • Develop and implement financial literacy and education programs for prospective and current students.
  • Co-manage student employees and oversee delinquent loan outreach and default prevention activities.
  • Manage the office's social media presence and support presentations and admissions events.
  • Perform other project and duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with a preference for experience in financial aid or a comparable combination of experience from other professional positions.
  • Ability to navigate and understand university student administrative management systems and State and Federal financial aid program regulations and policies.
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a focus on multi-tasking and transactional service.
  • Proven customer service experience, with a focus on client needs, well-developed listening skills, and demonstrated capacity to follow through on requests and problem resolution.
  • Dedication to student service and success.
