Overview: As the initial point of contact for Arkansas Children's, this role is pivotal in ensuring a welcoming environment. The representative is responsible for fundamental tasks related to scheduling and patient registration for outpatient services, which includes gathering complete and precise demographic and insurance details.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage patient appointment scheduling and ensure necessary referrals are secured.
  2. Achieve or surpass expected productivity and accuracy benchmarks.
  3. Welcome and engage patients, families, and visitors to create a positive first impression.
  4. Conduct registration and discharge processes, including co-payment collection, MyChart activation, and insurance verification.
  5. Facilitate discharge scheduling and ensure follow-up appointments and tests are arranged.
  6. Demonstrate the ability to register in multiple Centers as needed.
  7. Collaborate with clinical teams to enhance patient communication, clinic operations, and ongoing care.
  8. Actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving the patient experience, including promoting patient satisfaction surveys.
