- Manage scheduling tasks, including appointments and notifications for patients.
- Conduct pre-registration activities and ensure accurate patient information is maintained.
- Handle walk-ins, create new patient records, and access systems for necessary orders.
- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and ensure equipment is clean and functional.
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the waiting area, ensuring it is stocked with educational materials.
- Facilitate the completion of necessary documentation, including ABN forms and appointment scheduling.
- Verify insurance details and explain benefits to patients, while managing referrals and authorizations.
- Maintain daily and monthly statistics, ensuring accurate record-keeping of medical records issues.
- Process payments and issue receipts, managing financial transactions responsibly.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings, contributing to the orientation of new employees.
- Complete ongoing education requirements and maintain job skill competencies.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED with a minimum of three years of experience in registration, billing, or scheduling within a healthcare setting.
Additional Information:
