Key Responsibilities

  • Train and supervise a team of culinary staff to ensure that they are following proper food safety and handling procedures.
  • Oversee the ordering and inventory of food and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our culinary needs.
  • Develop and implement menus and recipes that meet the nutritional and dietary needs of our clients.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are clean and well-maintained.
  • Collaborate with our management team to develop and implement policies and procedures for food safety and handling.
  • Monitor and control food costs to ensure that we are operating within budget.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a large volume cooking environment, with at least two years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of staff and management.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures, as well as experience with inventory management and menu planning.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
