Senior Culinary Operations Manager

Job Summary
Restaurant Associates, a leading provider of dining and event catering, is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our premier dining establishment, Genesis House. As a Senior Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our culinary operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and participating in the preparation and cooking of various food items.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and create menus.
- Introduce new culinary programs in collaboration with the marketing and culinary departments.
- Assist in managing cost controls and controlling expenditures to maintain efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the kitchen.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef.
- Fine dining experience is preferred, especially in Asian cuisine.
- Knowledge of food and industry trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, safety, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Strong supervisory, leadership, training, management, and coaching skills.
- ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel.
- An Associate's degree in Culinary Arts is preferred.
