This role is responsible for ensuring a smooth patient registration process, including the collection of demographic, financial, and insurance information. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and verify patient demographic and financial information
  • Process patient financial responsibilities and refer self-pay patients to financial services as needed
  • Enter data accurately and maintain a high level of customer service
  • Act as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless communication

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic technical training in medical office practice
  • 3-6 months of on-the-job training and orientation
  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification preferred
  • Bilingual skills a plus
