The Technical Assistance Role:
As an integral part of our Internal IT Team, you will collaborate with our HR/Recruiting department to meet all employee equipment needs. Your duties include establishing new accounts, providing tailored equipment training sessions, managing equipment returns from former employees, and actively overseeing an IT ticketing system to address and resolve employee IT support inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with HR/Recruiting Department and other IT Team members to meet software and equipment requirements
  • Install, operate, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
  • Set up, maintain, and update personal computers, servers, printers, and software
  • Install and maintain LAN systems
  • Ensure adherence to all Company Engineering and Information Technology standards
  • Availability for after-hours and weekend work (as necessary)
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (all versions)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Capability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Effective communication skills before groups of customers or employees
  • Aptitude for solving practical problems and managing various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Strong attention to detail necessary for activities such as data preparation and analysis, transcription, computer terminal viewing, extensive reading, and visual inspection involving small defects or parts
  • BA/BS degree (Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred)
