Administrative Coordinator Internship Opportunity

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a part-time intern to join our Oahu Visits office in Honolulu, HI. As an intern, you will collaborate with our Client Service Managers, Clinical Managers, and Directors to gain valuable experience in the home health care industry.

Internship Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with employee and client charts
- Interact with physician offices and referral sources
- Participate in team meetings
- Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, filing, payroll processing, and ordering office supplies
- Assist with employee on-boarding and scheduling
- Work on special projects as needed
- Gain general knowledge of healthcare management
- Support/Assist the insurance authorization process for clients
- Ability to take ownership, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Creative and flexible with the ability to take initiative
- Willing to work in an "all hands-on deck" environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact well with employees at all levels
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
- Interest in the healthcare industry
