We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Engineer to join our dynamic team in the North Region. As a key member of our transportation practice, you will lead complex highway and roadway design projects, mentor early career professionals, and contribute to the growth of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of conceptual design studies, preliminary and final design construction documents for highway and roadway projects.
- Supervise project staff, providing technical mentorship and supporting their professional growth.
- Work directly with clients, building and maintaining relationships to deliver transformative projects.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
- 7+ years of relevant working experience in highway engineering and roadway design.
- Professional Engineering licensure in NH, ME, or VT or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Experience with CAD software, including MicroStation/Connect, InRoads/OpenRoads, AutoCAD, Civil3D, and GIS.
- DOT experience required, with VTrans, NHDOT, and/or MaineDOT preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
