Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Abacus Technology is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical communications design support for the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold AFB.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of systems engineering principles and practices.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in systems engineering and integration.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting systems engineering efforts for communications/IT and related specialties
  • Providing engineering reviews and suggesting solutions for the analysis, design, integration, installation, testing, and life-cycle support of new and upgraded systems
  • Performing requirements analyses and conceptual designs
  • Surveying, evaluating, and providing technical advice concerning all existing infrastructures, communications, and environmental aspects of the site
  • Implementing, testing, integrating, and supporting requirements for AF IT infrastructure to meet mission requirements and regulatory constraints

Qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of experience in systems engineering and integration
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Security+ CE certification
  • Microsoft certification
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
