The Senior Engineer, Standards will play a key role in ensuring the design and operation of Eversource Energy's distribution systems meet high quality standards. This includes developing and implementing Underground Construction Standards, Work Method development, and evaluating specifications and equipment used on the distribution system.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides engineering and technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems in the design and operation of the distribution system.
Ensures the accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, and monitoring of work activities.
Prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, and documentation related to defined problems and analysis.
Conducts engineering and related studies, completes non-routine engineering projects, and develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Five to eight years of related experience, with engineering design experience preferred.
Knowledge of utility power systems and familiarity with power-related software is preferred.

Eversource Energy offers a competitive total rewards program, including an annual salary range of $122,010.00 to $135,570.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.
Working Conditions:
The Senior Engineer, Standards must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required and travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary. A valid driver's license is required.
