The selected candidate will be engaged on a temporary to permanent basis, focusing on various administrative and billing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and file all scanned documents on a daily basis.
  • Send clinic schedules to medical professionals for the upcoming clinic day.
  • Prepare weekly travel charts.
  • Manage daily mail distribution.
  • Confirm nightly on-call schedules with the answering service.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, including those from closed offices at different locations.
  • Page physicians for consultations, including essential details such as consult type, hospital, patient name, room number, referring physician, and hospital contact information.
  • Schedule appointments for both new and existing patients following established protocols, providing directions for new patients.
  • Process and manage billing information on a daily basis.
  • Handle dictation, letters, and physician orders consistently.
  • Register patients, ensuring accurate entry and updates of patient demographics, and make copies of vital documents.
  • Collect co-payments and outstanding balances during patient check-in/check-out.
  • Coordinate and manage referral information for managed care patients.
  • Process requests for medical records.
  • Maintain physician schedules as directed by management.
  • Oversee hospital invoicing.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain the physician on-call schedule.
Qualifications:
  • Experience at the front desk in a medical office is essential.
