Job Overview:

A prominent consulting firm is seeking a talented Project Manager specializing in Change Management to lead a transformative initiative aimed at enhancing operational efficiency within the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced project manager to oversee projects of moderate complexity or significant segments of larger programs, ensuring that change control processes are adhered to and that project delivery meets high standards of quality and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Change Control Management: Monitor potential changes within projects, evaluate their impacts on resources and timelines, and communicate these effectively to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholders, ensuring that the implications of decisions or changes are clearly understood and managed.
  • Change Management Tools Maintenance: Ensure that all change management tools are current and accessible to relevant parties.
  • Coordination and Resource Management: Oversee the efforts of internal teams and external vendors, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution of project tasks.
  • Project Scope and Objectives Definition: Collaborate with team members and subject matter experts to define project scope and objectives, ensuring thorough documentation of requirements.
  • Resource and Funding Acquisition: Work with various departments to secure necessary resources and funding for project success.
  • Project Schedule and Reporting: Maintain and update project schedules, providing regular progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Dependency Management: Identify and manage interdependencies between various departments and resources to prevent conflicts.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor their resolution.
  • Project Documentation: Create and maintain all necessary project management documentation in accordance with organizational standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in project management with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on teamwork and customer service.
  • Experience in cross-functional team environments, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant project management experience.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in project change management.
  • Familiarity with industry practices and terminology.
