Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions

The Earlham School of Religion (ESR) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Recruitment and Admissions to join our team. As a key member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to recruit and admit high-quality students to our seminary program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a comprehensive recruitment plan to attract and engage prospective students
- Collaborate with the Dean and faculty to create a unified admissions policy and strategy
- Research and implement effective recruitment strategies, including online marketing, social media, and print materials
- Represent ESR at recruitment events and conferences, and coordinate with other representatives as needed
- Manage the admissions process, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and making admission decisions
- Supervise the admissions staff and provide guidance and support as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and admissions
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in a related field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in recruitment and admissions, preferably in a higher education setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organization and attention to detail
- Knowledge of recruitment and admissions software and technology, including Slate and Banner
