We're looking for a Director of Student Accessibility and Educational Opportunity who shares our passion for creating a more inclusive and accessible campus community. Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities

The Director of Student Accessibility and Educational Opportunity will provide leadership and strategic direction for all student-facing disability resource and accessibility efforts on VCU's Monroe Park Campus. This includes overseeing a team of professionals and student workers, providing comprehensive oversight and strategic leadership for the two main functional areas of the SAEO office, and serving as VCU's resident expert on matters related to student access and accommodation.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in higher education administration, special education, counseling, psychology, social work, or a related area, and a minimum of seven years of full-time, professional experience in postsecondary disability resources and accessibility, with at least three years in a progressive leadership position. They will also have demonstrated ability to successfully work in a diverse, multi-cultural and complex environment, and be able to function independently and as a member of a team in a constantly changing environment.
