Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities using market data, customer insights, and industry reports.
- Analyze sales data to uncover trends and opportunities, develop and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and performance metrics, and create persuasive sales presentations for clients, partners, and investors.
- Manage the purchase order process ensuring accuracy and efficiency, coordinate with internal teams to handle sales orders, and resolve issues.
- Formulate go-to-market strategies and goals with commercial leadership, translate market insights into actionable plans for revenue growth and market expansion, and collaborate on trade plans and expenditures.
- Evaluate financial data, pricing strategies, profitability, and cost structures to maximize revenue and improve margins, predict customer demand to support production decisions and forecast sales trends.
- Partner with commercial, R&D, operations, and other departments to align business efforts with company goals and collaborate on go-to-market strategies and customer acquisition initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales analysis, ideally within the food manufacturing sector.
- Exceptional analytical abilities with proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, market research, and advanced Excel functions.
- Proficiency in various data analysis and visualization tools, including spreadsheets, business intelligence platforms, and databases. Familiarity with machine learning concepts, CRM systems, ERP software, and general BI tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex ideas and influencing stakeholders, with a strategic mindset to foresee market trends and discover growth opportunities.
- Demonstrated history of achieving business results, executing successful business development strategies, and ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic setting managing multiple projects.
- Collaborative team player with a knack for working across departments and a passion for contributing to a dynamic startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience pulling and analyzing data from SPINS/IRI and or Nielsen.
- CPG experience.
