Job SummaryThe Patient Access Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director in daily operations, serving as a liaison between the Shared Service Center and the facility, and ensuring that all patient interactions adhere to the Model AIDET guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure QA on registrations for all areas of Registration
- Perform patient registration functions when needed to minimize wait times
- Follow-up on patient complaints promptly
- Supervise and maintain the productivity of employees
- Responsible for Dept. Operations Report, FTEs, and Operating budgets
- Conduct monthly staff meetings and in-services for all responsible areas
- Assume on-call responsibilities to ensure adequate staff and problem-solving
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required
- Minimum three years experience in Patient Access in an acute care setting
- Will consider Clinical Managers/Practise Managers with at least 2 years of experience
