Position Summary: We are in search of a detail-oriented and seasoned Financial Administrator to oversee a variety of financial responsibilities and ensure the efficient functioning of our accounting operations. The successful candidate will have expertise in payroll processing, certified payrolls, AIA procedures, invoicing, and expense management, along with proficiency in QuickBooks. A solid understanding of Windows operating systems is also essential.
Key Duties:
- Administer and process payroll, including certified payrolls as necessary.
- Manage invoicing and guarantee timely payment collection from clients.
- Monitor expenses and assess job profitability.
- Accurately execute AIA procedures.
- Utilize QuickBooks for maintaining financial records and generating reports.
- Effectively operate Windows systems to facilitate financial tasks and reporting.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial precision and compliance.
- Provide regular financial updates and summaries to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proficient in QuickBooks and other financial software.
- Strong grasp of AIA procedures and certified payroll requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Competent in operating Windows systems.
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable financial role within a contracting or construction setting is preferred.
