Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Financial Administrator to manage a range of financial tasks and ensure the smooth operation of our accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in payroll management, certified payrolls, AIA procedures, invoicing, and expense tracking, with expertise in QuickBooks. A strong familiarity with Windows operating systems is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process payroll, including certified payrolls as required.
  • Oversee invoicing and ensure timely receipt of payments from clients.
  • Track expenses and monitor job profitability.
  • Execute AIA procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilize QuickBooks to maintain financial records and generate reports.
  • Operate Windows systems effectively to support financial tasks and reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide regular updates and financial summaries to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of AIA procedures and certified payroll requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficient in operating Windows systems.
  • Proven experience in a similar financial role within a contracting or construction environment is preferred.
