Your Role and Contributions

The Memorial Sales Consultant at StoneMor plays a crucial role in delivering a customer-centric experience to families, guests, and community members. By employing the StoneMor sales methodology, which emphasizes thorough discovery, industry expertise, and client-focused solutions, the consultant will assist clients in pre-planning their final arrangements. Additionally, the consultant will support families during their immediate time of need, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Achieving monthly objectives will be essential for maximizing revenue and thriving in a commission-based sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist families in navigating end-of-life memorial planning through effective sales presentations and resources provided by StoneMor. Offer personalized options that cater to the specific needs of individuals or their deceased loved ones, including location tours, burial and entombment options, cremation services, memorials, and merchandise. Clearly communicate all associated costs and financing options, ensuring completion of financing prior to interment. Manage the CRM and lead database daily, generating new leads through networking, online outreach, and cold calling, while categorizing leads effectively. Organize and conduct community outreach initiatives to foster relationships and generate new leads. Complete all necessary documentation and authorizations to finalize sales and deliver services/products seamlessly. Actively engage in supporting services at the location. Participate in sales meetings, providing updates and insights to local management and team members regarding activities and results.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred. Minimum of 1 year of sales experience preferred. Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle required for offsite appointments. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience with CRM systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
