Your Role and Impact

As a Sales Counselor at StoneMor, you will play a vital role in delivering a customer-centric experience to families, guests, and community members. You will utilize our proven sales methodology, which emphasizes understanding client needs, industry knowledge, and tailored solutions. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients in pre-planning their final arrangements and providing immediate support to those in need. By achieving monthly objectives, you will contribute to the financial success of the organization while working in a commission-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist families in memorial planning by utilizing sales presentations and tools provided by StoneMor.
  • Offer tailored options to meet the unique needs of clients, including location tours, burial and cremation choices, and merchandise recommendations. Clearly communicate all associated costs and financing options, ensuring completion of financing prior to services.
  • Manage CRM and lead database daily, generating new leads through networking, online outreach, and referrals.
  • Organize and conduct community outreach initiatives to foster relationships and generate new business opportunities.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and authorizations to finalize sales and deliver services effectively.
  • Actively engage in supporting services at the location.
  • Participate in sales meetings, providing updates on activities, progress, and results to local management and team members.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle required for client meetings and community events.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, is essential.
  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
