The Impact You Will Make

As a Memorial Services Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering a customer-centric experience to families, guests, and community members. By utilizing the StoneMor sales methodology, which emphasizes thorough discovery, industry expertise, and customer-focused solutions, you will assist clients in pre-planning their final arrangements. Additionally, you will provide immediate support to families in need, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Your ability to meet monthly targets will contribute to the organization's revenue growth in a commission-based environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist families in navigating end-of-life memorial planning through effective sales presentations and resources provided by StoneMor.
  • Offer tailored options to meet the unique needs of individuals and families, including site tours, plot identification, and guidance on burial, entombment, cremation, memorials, and merchandise. Clearly communicate all associated costs and financing options, ensuring all arrangements are finalized prior to services.
  • Manage the CRM and lead database daily, generating new leads through networking, online outreach, and cold calling, while categorizing leads effectively.
  • Organize and execute community outreach initiatives to foster relationships and generate new leads.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and authorizations to finalize sales and deliver services/products efficiently.
  • Actively engage in supporting services at the location.
  • Participate in sales meetings, providing updates to local management and team members regarding activities and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle required for offsite appointments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, is essential.
  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
