Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in the oversight and evaluation of quality standards within the organization. This position is responsible for the meticulous documentation and communication of global quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough inspections and monitoring of materials and products to ensure adherence to Sealed Air Corporation's policies, as well as regulatory and industry benchmarks.
2. Perform inspections in response to significant customer concerns, inter-plant transfers, and internal quality challenges.
3. Determine appropriate actions based on established policies, regulatory guidelines, customer expectations, and historical performance data.
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspections using the Smartsheet database system.
5. Generate and present comprehensive reports and findings to management at all levels, utilizing tools such as Smartsheet, MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
6. Collaborate with supervisory and production teams to investigate quality control incidents, assisting in root cause analysis and developing corrective action recommendations.
7. Provide training and support to site quality auditors and engage in cross-training across various quality control functions.
8. Participate in capability studies and tests coordinated by engineering and quality management.
9. Support regulatory audits, including ISO and customer audits.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience Levels:
- Level I: 0-3 years
- Level II: 3-5 years
- Level III: More than 5 years
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with personnel at all levels.
- Basic proficiency in Excel, SAP, Smartsheet, and MS Word.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Independent thinker with a proactive approach to improvement suggestions.
- Reliability in attendance and punctuality, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of inspection processes related to machine assembly, electrical assembly, and basic machining.
