Job Summary
We are seeking a Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver and Support Specialist, you will provide support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.
- Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Support individuals in developing and achieving their personal goals and objectives.
- Provide transportation and accompaniment to individuals as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized support plans.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and medical providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- No high school diploma required.
- No experience required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
