About the Role

This Sr. Administrative Assistant position is a critical component of our Claim Legal team, providing complex administrative support to multiple attorneys across various lines of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handles a wide range of administrative tasks, including organization, communication, facilitation, and scheduling.
  • Exercises independent judgment in facilitating overall department operations, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Cross-trains peers on support staff activities as needed.
  • Coordinates inter-departmental or department-wide administrative projects, such as communications, services, and policy development.
  • Manages complex scheduling, including internal, external, and department-wide events and travel planning.
  • Prepares and submits expense accounts and other types of expenses.
  • Interacts regularly with internal and external business partners, initiating follow-up actions as needed.
  • Resolves conflicts via phone and, occasionally, in person, utilizing moderate to advanced conflict resolution skills.
  • Develops and implements office practices and procedures within authority level.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Advanced skill level required for software applications, including database queries, Excel spreadsheets, and document preparation.
  • Experience with Matter Application preferred.
