Job Overview

Greenhouse Fabrics, Inc. is a family-owned wholesaler specializing in fabrics for the upholstery and interior design sectors. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative professional to spearhead our marketing initiatives. As the Marketing Brand Strategist, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's strategy and image. Collaborating closely with our sales and product teams, you will align marketing efforts, develop impactful strategies, and engage in feedback loops to enhance revenue growth and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Oversee the marketing of sample books, including merchandising and design aspects such as fabric check-ins, product photography, lifestyle imagery, and digital artwork.
  • Work in partnership with our web development team for the design, management, and upkeep of our website.
  • Effectively manage project timelines and schedules.
  • Curate and sustain our presence across various social media platforms.
  • Administer the marketing budget to ensure maximum impact.
  • Ensure the timely production of sample book print materials and promotional items.
  • Design and implement engaging marketing campaigns for new sample book collections.
  • Create compelling written content, including product descriptions and blog posts.
  • Collaborate efficiently with the marketing team on all assigned projects.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of print materials.
  • Lead the creation of social media content, including video production and editing for our channels.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management or team leadership.
  • Proven success in driving sales through strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Adobe software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and photography.
  • Strong aesthetic sense with an eye for color and design.
  • General understanding of website design and development.
  • Experience managing social media accounts.
  • Background in event and tradeshow planning.
  • Exceptional multitasking and prioritization abilities.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership qualities and strong organizational skills.
  • Innovative and creative mindset.
  • Physical capability to lift over 30 pounds and work in diverse environments.
  • Knowledge of textiles or the interior design/upholstery industry is advantageous.
