Job Summary (The position is on-site in High Point, NC, and requires a minimum of five (5) years of marketing experience)
The Marketing Director for A.R.T. is responsible for creating the brand messaging & communicating its value through all touchpoints and customer segments. This role owns content creation and distribution using an omnichannel approach to extol the story behind the brand. This position creates the brand standards manual and executes an effective marketing strategy to support organizational objectives, including brand awareness, annual revenue, and profits goals We are a small team with a huge objective and the ideal candidate will be a team player, self-motivated and display a high level of energy.
Responsibilities
- Develop messaging platforms to communicate products, services, and brand identity that engage with the channels of distribution and ultimately with consumers creating a desire to belong
- Maximize the marketing channels for the above communications, which may include but are not limited to Direct marketing, Print Materials, Digital assets, Social Media, company website(s), Public Relations, and professional tradespeople hired to contract for content creation
- Establish consumer engagement with the brand by acquisition, retention, and commitment to the brand offerings
- Messaging to internal and external partners brand directives, announcements, policy changes, or other timely communications with the voice of the signature
- Create the standards and inspirational vision that is translated into copy, graphics, content, imagery, and brand-defining collateral
- Coordinate with the VP of Sales US, Merchandising, and Creative Directors to develop marketing and brand assets that support sales targeted for each channel of distribution, seasonal events, collection launch, and additional editorial, video, or creative content
- Create and produce materials needed for company-sponsored events; including but not limited to International Furniture Market and Las Vegas Market; trade shows and other brand engagement.
- Ownership of the brand standards manual; including but not limited to logos, company signage, approved colors, typeface, or any visual or message representation by third parties
- Establish annual marketing budget and track adherence to targeted goals
- Retain skills current in the industry of communication/marketing to identify the best strategic partners, social influencers, platforms, and tools for a positive impact on delivering brand awareness and loyalty
- Participate in leadership meetings that review performance, analyze, strategize, or set actions in place that impact the successful execution of brand goals
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years experience leading a Marketing and Branding platform demonstrating relevance to the company and utilizing the most current marketing resources
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negation skills (organize, present, and conflict resolution skills)
- Skills with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word ), website analytics, PIM management, DAM platform organization, image and video creation or manipulation software; Social Media platforms, paid messaging, Social Influencers or other targeted marketing resources
- Attention to detail with an ability to assess cost benefits to expense budgeting
- Demonstrated skill in managing or engaging in social media messaging including posting frequency, #tag density, link tracking, increased followers, post continuity, and audience-appropriate messages
- Self-motivated, hands-on execution, and able to work well under pressure
- Demonstrated passion for building brand relationships
- A strong desire for continuous learning and growth, actively seeking knowledge from team members, competitors, enduring brands, books, or project failures
- Develop and demonstrate business acumen finding new and appropriate opportunities to grow both the business and oneself professionally

- Graphic Design experience
- Creating and managing Brand content through the creation of brand logo, voice, personality, and standards and outlining all aspects of visualization related to the company, its products, and its value that define the brand identity
- E-commerce/Website knowledge to execute, track, and evaluate successful engagement, traffic, and other metrics that support or redirect efforts
- Analytic ability to consume all types of data and return an assessment that impacts decision-making for future investments/efforts and reliable ROI
- A sense of humor while retaining a professionally appropriate work environment
- Ability to relate to a small working team environment while demonstrating a focus on big business success
