Job Summary

Project Delivery Partners is seeking a highly skilled Lead Project Planner to lead and manage a team of planners in delivering large-scale CAPEX projects in the BioPharma Industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement project planning and scheduling strategies, plans, and procedures, reflecting both company and contractor roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Schedule Management: Coordinate the development and implementation of project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), perform probabilistic analysis on integrated schedules and contractor schedules, and conduct required project schedule analysis, critical path analysis, and schedule risk analysis.
  • Project Controls: Ensure that schedule-related data from vendors, suppliers, engineering, and construction contractors is aligned and integrated to the overall Integrated Master Schedule, and maintain the accuracy and completeness of the schedules produced.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop good working relationships with project teams, and provide expertise to the client project team to ensure adequate definition of scope within the integrated schedule, establish reasonable baselines, identify and manage risk, and track, monitor, and report project performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in CAPEX projects with roles in planning/scheduling, preferably in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industries.
  • Skills: Expertise in project controls and time/schedule management, advanced MS Excel skills, and proficiency in software systems and packages, including Primavera P6.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
