Project Summary:

We are in search of a skilled Telecommunications Infrastructure Project Coordinator for an upcoming initiative with a government entity. This long-term project aims to enhance telecommunications systems and infrastructure design. Currently, we are in the preparatory phase and are looking to build a team of adept professionals to ensure the project's effectiveness. Candidates must possess valid work authorization for the USA.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Telecommunications Systems Development: Assist in the design and execution of telecommunications cabling and circuit networks, including both wired and wireless systems, along with building automation and IoT solutions.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Engage with various governmental departments to strategize and implement telecommunications and technology infrastructure projects.
  • Integration of Advanced Technologies: Work alongside agency sponsors, architects, and engineers to incorporate modern smart building technologies into public facilities.
  • Management of Telecommunications Services: Oversee and direct the operational aspects of telecommunications service providers and manage relevant contracts.
  • Design and Specification Development: Contribute to the planning and design of communication capabilities, create specifications, and supervise budgetary allocations.
  • Technical Standards Development: Establish technical standards for IT infrastructure design and approve construction documents on behalf of the relevant department.
  • Project Oversight: Monitor and evaluate the installation of technology systems and building automation solutions in construction projects, ensuring contractor work is prioritized effectively.
  • Innovation in Technology: Keep updated with advancements in the IT sector, address maintenance needs, and activate emergency protocols as required.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in telecommunications systems and infrastructure design.
  • In-depth knowledge of wired and wireless systems, building automation, and IoT technologies.
  • Experience collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers on large-scale projects.
  • Expertise in creating technical standards for IT infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage telecommunications service providers and contracts.
  • Strong project management capabilities, particularly in overseeing technology installations.
  • Familiarity with modern smart building technologies and their integration.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stay informed about IT industry innovations and apply them effectively.
