Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver site-specific technical guidance to address various challenges related to site assessment, remediation, and sustainable management of contaminated locations, including potential reuse and redevelopment opportunities.
  • Identify and document innovative strategies to enhance and streamline cleanup processes, including the evaluation of technologies and best practices.
  • Contribute to the advancement of data management methodologies for environmental data derived from cleanup activities.
  • Lead a diverse range of technical projects and multidisciplinary teams, including ICF personnel and external partners.
  • Engage directly with clients on a regular basis to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in site assessment and remediation, with a strong background in geostatistics and advanced sampling techniques.
  • Proven experience in preparing technical documentation and reports for clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with EPA cleanup initiatives (e.g., Superfund, RCRA, Brownfields).
  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) environmental restoration programs.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for project needs.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Collaborative team player with demonstrated project management capabilities, adept at navigating fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to engage effectively with clients.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Completion of OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training is advantageous.
