About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at MGM Resorts International. As a key member of our food and beverage operations, you will be responsible for leading the management of our assigned restaurant, providing direction and leadership to the Assistant General Manager, Assistant Manager, and Restaurant Service team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead daily restaurant operations, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and execution and development of marketing strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability.
- Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, pricing initiatives, training programs, directives, menus, rules and regulations for the restaurant staff.
- Manage Human Resources responsibilities for Restaurant to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback (coaching and counseling), recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction.
- Interact with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience. React to any guest complaints and take any appropriate action.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of venue's food & beverage products, menu items and equipment used to perform duties.
