About the Role

The MGM Resorts International team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Chef to join our dynamic team at TAP Sports Bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and presentation, while providing a warm and welcoming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct training sessions for kitchen staff on job responsibilities and best practices
  • Ensure accurate and timely requisitions, inventory management, and sanitation procedures
  • Develop and execute recipes, maintaining a high level of menu knowledge and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to control purchasing, receiving, and inventory of kitchen items
  • Prepare and administer kitchen schedules, payroll, training, and coaching
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of prior sous chef experience
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
