POSITION OVERVIEW

Penn Foster Inc. is in search of a proactive and resourceful individual to assume the role of Salesforce Marketing Automation Specialist, focusing on customer-oriented digital solutions.

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist will oversee the daily implementation of marketing initiatives, including landing pages and various digital communication projects utilizing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and Pardot.

This position necessitates a solid grasp of digital marketing principles and HTML, along with the capability to effectively contribute to digital communication strategies through innovative design, execution, targeting, segmentation, personalization, comprehensive testing, analysis, and optimization.

This role requires on-site presence during the workweek in the corporate environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, construct, and enhance workflows utilizing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including Email Studio, Journey Studio, Advertising Studio, and Pardot, to support both internal and external digital campaigns and ongoing business requests.

Create, launch, and manage landing pages that showcase new programs, promotional assets, product lines, and other digital campaign efforts.

Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to align featured assets and content.

Assist in tagging all marketing URLs with Google Analytics for tracking purposes.

Facilitate the implementation of automated journeys for diverse audiences to foster relationships and improve communications with both active and inactive prospects.

Support digital acquisition and data collection strategies, as well as audience list management and database integrations.

Work collaboratively to comprehend business and customer requirements and provide guidance on industry best practices related to email marketing.

Utilize HTML, CSS, SQL, and/or AMPscript to create tailored email templates and landing pages that adhere to brand and style guidelines.

Implement innovative designs and solutions, including mobile-responsive layouts, to enhance visual appeal and user engagement.

Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure functionality of links, images, segmentation lists, and dynamic content, as well as accurate email rendering across various email clients.

Measure and enhance performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and content engagement through A/B testing and other methodologies.

Monitor and address email deliverability challenges while ensuring compliance with email regulations.

Analyze email campaign outcomes and assist in generating and distributing performance reports that summarize key insights and provide actionable recommendations.

Contribute to the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required.
4-7 years of experience in email marketing and digital design with a marketing automation system is essential.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot at an enterprise level is required.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud email certification is preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL, and/or AMPscript is advantageous.
Familiarity with email marketing best practices and industry standards is necessary.
Ability to think critically and deliver data-driven recommendations is essential.
