Position Overview
AmeriLife is undergoing a transformative enhancement of its operational framework to better cater to the changing demands of its stakeholders nationwide. We are seeking a Contracting Specialist to play a vital role in advancing our strategic initiatives.

The Contracting Specialist is instrumental in ensuring the effectiveness of the contracting division and the overall business operations they support. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with various insurance carrier representatives while simultaneously engaging with internal operations and key stakeholders. A hybrid work model is available following the training period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Input agent data into the contracting database.
  • Reach out to agents to address any licensing or contracting issues.
  • Review exception reports, investigate solutions, and manage exceptions as necessary.
  • Verify that commission and hierarchy levels align with contracts for agents, agencies, and carriers.
  • Coordinate with the internal account management team to ensure satisfaction among agencies and affiliates.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new agency and affiliate partners through intake calls, paperwork processing, and related procedures.
  • Support direct agent onboarding processes.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with established service level agreements and performance standards, including timeliness, productivity, and quality.
  • Utilize established performance management systems and methodologies.
  • Address Salesforce cases as assigned.
  • Actively engage in team planning and process enhancement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with carriers and external partners to efficiently resolve licensing challenges.
  • Process Agent Release Requests as required.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Self-motivated individual with a quick learning ability.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Proactive attitude towards initiative-taking and innovative problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in the Financial Services sector is preferred.
