Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of creative professionals and external partners to produce marketing communication materials that boost the acquisition of new partners, businesses, and consumers while enhancing customer loyalty.
  • Work closely with Marketing Programs and eCommerce teams to design and implement marketing communications that achieve lead generation, partner recruitment, customer retention, online conversions, and other strategic goals.
  • Develop and execute a content strategy aimed at educating, informing, and engaging key target audiences that supports the company's thought leadership, demand generation, and SEO initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product Teams to create and refine product messaging and audience profiles that effectively convey the value proposition of GFI Software to partners, businesses, and consumers.
  • Direct the public relations strategy to establish the company as a thought leader in technology and security sectors; create press releases, pitches, and rapid response initiatives to secure media coverage; engage product reviewers to promote favorable GFI Software reviews; manage an external PR agency and execute PR activities internally; regularly assess and report on the effectiveness of the PR strategy.
  • Oversee independent product reviews and award submissions.
  • Manage analyst relations by building awareness for GFI Software among key analysts and collaborating with contracted analyst firms as needed.
  • Enhance and oversee the GFI Software brand by refining messaging and visual identity, ensuring consistent application across all marketing materials and communication channels, including web, events, email marketing, video scripts, blogs, newsletters, white papers, and social media.
  • Enforce brand standards within the organization and with partners to leverage GFI Software branded assets.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and HR to establish regular and effective employee communications.
  • Engage with subject matter experts and stakeholders throughout the organization to continuously enhance communications and identify new opportunities to strengthen marketing efforts and establish thought leadership.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing communications within the technology sector, preferably in security or the SMB market.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing highly effective content marketing strategies.
  • Ability to translate brand identity and product features into engaging content that drives customer engagement and increases lead generation and conversion rates.
  • Experience producing a variety of content types, including long-form writing, presentations, video, and audio.
  • Exceptional storytelling abilities, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Metrics-driven mindset, focused on creating content that enhances lead generation, website traffic, search rankings, and return on investment.
  • Experience in developing key performance indicators, dashboards, and benchmark reports to assess content engagement success.
  • Proficient in managing diverse content creators to ensure clarity, timeliness, and budget adherence in deliverables.
  • Creative thinker and leader, capable of thriving under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Strong management, leadership, and mentoring capabilities.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and techniques.
