Job Summary:

Our Manager of Marketing will be responsible for mass promotions and campaigns, including merchandising catalogs and flyers. The position will also work cross-functionally with the product marketing team, legal, finance and supply chain to ensure all items selected for promotion meet departmental goals. This role will work to put all related information into projects and manage the process from beginning to end with creative and the digital team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans.
  • Develop a series of detailed mass-market journeys as well as specific journeys for key accounts, working cross-functionally with digital marketing to ensure the creation, execution and quarterly analysis of journeys.
  • Manage, develop and track various promotional offers such as account specific promotions and analyze that data to continually improve promotional results, working closely with supply chain to understand the forecast and impact of products in marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with the product innovation (product marketing) team to understand and strategize product launches, category/pricing assortment strategies and partnerships within the yearly marketing plan.
  • Ensure all products in marketing support collateral are approved and communicated across the organization.
  • Report out on a quarterly basis. Serve as liaison between sales department (via Sr. Marketing manager, sales support) and product marketing managers on distributor specific promotions and mass promotions.
  • Execute Salesforce requests/project management for print and digital advertising, eFlyers, direct mail efforts, marketing campaigns, etc. including owning all digital flyer and marketing collateral updates.
  • Work with Sr. Marketing Manager on the quarterly sales call decks based on updated requests from leadership and overall marketing plan for consistent messaging throughout the company.
  • Work with Communications Manager to ensure overall catalog and flyer strategy aligns to corporate messaging and brand partner standards.
  • Analyze SIC data to develop Vertical Markets collateral, online merchandising, and update any sales collateral.
  • Create case studies by end-user industry. Build marketing plans, product assortments and customized promotions to support each vertical.
  • Analyze trends of top verticals (join trade associations/newsletters) and report out on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage ad hoc marketing driven projects as they arise.
  • Provide merchandising solutions for various incoming requests.
  • Increase ROI of marketing spend for spend related to printed collateral, digital advertising and MOB mailers.
  • Manage direct reports to support marketing goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or in related field preferred.
  • 5+ years promotional products experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Creative judgment and commercial empathy across the business spectrum.
  • Familiarity with on-line marketing or e-business strategies.
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint or other presentation creation software
  • CRM Experience preferred, and/or other marketing platforms.
