Senior Product Marketing Manager - Asset Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our global Product Marketing team, focusing on our B2B Asset Management sector. The selected candidate will concentrate on targeting clients in retail investment management, institutional investment management, and brokerage-dealer firms worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research on market trends, product dynamics, and competitors, sharing insights with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing teams.
  • Content Development: Assist in developing content strategies and creating diverse assets, such as blog posts, videos, web demos, and social media content.
  • Buyer Journey Mapping: Map out the buyer and customer journeys for target segments, identifying their decision-making process and motivations, and implementing strategies to enhance marketing, sales, and customer service activities.
  • Product Positioning: Create compelling product positioning and messaging tailored to specific buyer personas to steer global and regional marketing initiatives.
  • Competitive Landscape: Stay informed on the global competitive landscape, understanding competitor positioning and effectively communicating insights to the sales team.
  • Marketing Planning: Collaborate with product marketing leadership and the broader marketing team to draft effective marketing plans for SS&C's products, focusing on acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Five to seven years of experience in Asset Management environments, with at least 3 years in product marketing, and over 2 years in FinTech/B2B SaaS.

    • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, proficient in developing and delivering product messages, creating innovative product marketing content, and presenting to audiences.
