About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Management Consultant to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Strategic Management Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting defense acquisition and sustainment commands with life cycle logistics planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply strategic principles, theories, and concepts to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of logistics plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze business opportunities and challenges.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and clients.
  • Provide expert-level guidance and support to clients on logistics planning and execution.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in analytical work, including risk analysis, financial modeling, operations analysis, lean and six sigma analysis, or gap analysis.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, escalate conflicts and concerns to the management team, and work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to interact and network with all levels of staff, including senior leadership.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, logistics, or operations management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with projects in the Department of Defense.
  • Experience with consulting and logistics planning.
  • Knowledge of coding languages, including VBA, R, Python, or Structured Query Language.
  • Ability to think critically, analyze, and actively listen.
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
