Job Type: Full Time, Part Time, PRN

As an EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic, you will respond to both emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls, providing essential medical care and ensuring safe and timely transport to medical facilities or back home.

Schedule:
  • 12 shifts available *shifts vary by location*
  • Built-in overtime for each bi-weekly pay period and annual pay increases based on performance reviews ranging from 1-5%
  • Full-time 12-hour shifts include 8 hours of built-in overtime per 2-week pay period
  • $10 t.i.p.s BONUS plan providing $10 for each patient daily, paid out with each paycheck
  • EMT-B starting at $21 - $26.23/hour, AEMT starting at $ /hour, and Paramedics starting at $ /hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures.
  • Maintain EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic certification as mandated by the State and/or NREMT.
  • Keep a current CPR certification.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License (must pass MVR).
  • Ensure the assigned ambulance is consistently clean and ready for non-emergency calls.
  • Respond appropriately to dispatched calls.
  • Provide suitable medical care within the scope of practice for EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic, following established medical protocols and standing orders.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, working effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Complete any additional tasks necessary to fulfill job requirements. Shifts may vary, and daily responsibilities are subject to change.
Required Licenses or Certifications:
  • Must possess a valid State and/or NREMT License at the EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic level.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to communicate verbally, both in person and over the phone.
  • Must have close visual acuity for tasks such as patient care, data analysis, and operating EMS equipment.
  • Must be proficient in English for communication and reading tasks.
  • Must be able to maintain a stationary position for approximately 80% of the time.
  • Must be able to type or write for approximately 15% of the time.
  • Must be able to occasionally move within the office to access files and equipment.
  • Must be able to navigate within the ambulance to provide patient care and retrieve equipment.
  • Ability to operate a computer and office machinery, including calculators and printers.
  • Ability to use EMS equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and EKG machines.
  • Frequent communication with patients, EMS personnel, and hospital staff is required.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and climbing stairs to assist patients and manage equipment.
  • Must be capable of lifting over 200 lbs. with assistance when necessary.
  • Must be able to handle paperwork and small equipment effectively.
