Job Summary: We are seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our team at INTEGRIS Health. This role will involve providing exceptional care to patients and their families, working closely with our healthcare team to ensure seamless patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering telephones and taking concise messages
- Scanning and indexing information into the medical record
- Handling requests for medical records and basic scheduling
Requirements:
- 1 year of clerical experience preferred
- Experience in cashier procedures and/or basic accounting, clinic check in/out procedures, basic health insurance, HMO, PPO, and basic medical terminology
- 6 months of customer service experience and 6 months of telephone customer service experience preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a current Driver's License from the state of residence and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier
- For clinic staff assigned duties of entering orders in the electronic medical records, certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire
